We were blown away by the attention to detail and thoughfulness put into every part of this hotel! The bedroom and bathroom were absolutely beautifully decorated with a modern yet cozy, welcoming vibe. There was even a treat basket with a personalized hand written note waiting for us! It was also the most comfortable hotel bed we've ever slept on! If you are visiting Marquette I can not recomend Explore enough! Its in an incredibly walkable area to explore Marquette on foot but they also offer complimentary bike rentals, either electric or normal. We took the electric bikes to a nearby park for an afternoon. Everyone who helped us thoughout our stay was so kind and eager to help. The breakfast pasteries were absolutely delicious and the set up was adorable. The details add up to make an incredibly memorable and enjoyable experience. We cant wait to come back!

Loved our stay here! We spent my wedding weekend here and they were so kind and accommodating! Me and my bridal party got ready for the wedding here, and they brought us an amazing fruit bowel, macaroons, and orange juice! They also lets us have a very late check out so that I could get some of my bridal photos in the room and lobby! My and my new husband came back after the wedding and they left us the most gorgeous set of roses and alcohol-free champagne bottle as we are both sober. The staff is just excellent and made us feel so welcome! I also forgot my necklaces in the bathroom when we checked out and they immediately called me to let me know! Thank you so much for helping us and adding to our special weekend!

What a beautiful serine boutique hotel. Coming from Detroit area and our hotel was right in walking distance of shops, restaurants and the Great Lake Superior. Enjoyed happy hour on the roof top with our hostess Shawnee and her great hospitality. Room was comfortable-large and very bougie lol!!! Breakfast this time was room service with so many items and delicious delicious delicious Thank you from Cindi and Olivia

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at EXPLORE Historic Marquette. The rooms were equipped with everything we needed and the breakfast in the morning was a nice touch. It was also a lovely surprise to have complimentary snacks and drinks in the lobby all day. The staff was communicative every step of the way and check-in was very easy. I will say, it was a surprise that this is a no contact accommodation, which I may have missed from the website. This did not bother us, but for some, it may not be their ideal accommodation.

I stay in hotel rooms on average 30-40 days a year for work and pleasure. I have stayed overseas and all over America. I can honestly say that your rooms were the biggest, most comfortable I have ever stayed. Your beds rock! The large windows were my favorite! Your staff went above and beyond in service. I was amazed at this level of service and don't believe I got this at the Ritz Carlton or other well known properties. I honestly recommend the owners of this property build a chain of these properties. You would quickly overtake the market in popularity!!! I would make all my stays at your hotels.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Explore this past weekend, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience. While I don’t often write reviews, this fantastic stay truly deserves the highest praise. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I can attest that this was more than just a stay; it was a memorable experience. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by the most irresistible chocolate chip cookies, and the luxurious bed linens will envelop you in comfort. The rainfall shower is an absolute delight, adding to the property’s charm. Don't miss the delectable breakfast pastries and the complimentary e-bike rentals, which complete this remarkable visit. You'll be glad you stayed!

We had a fabulous stay at Explore! The service and attention to detail as well as the communication was excellent. We enjoyed very nice amenities including a beautiful rooftop happy hour, a nice breakfast and excellent in room and lobby coffee. We also used the complimentary e-bikes which was great fun. Our concierge Ninea was fabulous!! She made us feel so welcome and expertly handled happy hour, bike use and all information about our stay. We look forward to our return!

This is a must-stay spot! You will be spoiled, comfortable, and relaxed during your stay. While we only stayed one night, it rejuvenated us after a long roadtrip and made us want to come back before we even left. The room was amazing, loved the style, space to move around, and the beds were so darn comfy! The welcome happy hour was a great start, the bartender pointed us to a great dinner spot (Digs) for a light refreshing meal with good drinks and it was just what we needed. We had a great night sleep and woke up to delicious pastries, coffee and mimosa bar. Yum! Every amenity you need is here and you won’t be disappointed by staying here. We’ll be back!
